Biomass

In the diverse sector of biomass, we have concentrated on the use of two basic raw materials: electrical energy production from wood and the production of biodiesel from rape.

Raw Material: Wood

We evaluate potential sites, conduct feasibility studies and do the technical planning for the construction of biomass power plants as well as the grid connection. Furthermore, we develop and optimize the combustion mixtures and guarantee delivery through the appropriate contracts.

We ensure quality performance by working together with competent companies from the areas of plant construction and process engineering. Since 1998, there have been 10 locations planned with a capacity of 20 MWel and an investment volume of 80 Million EUR.

In 2000, we entered into a long-term cooperation with one of the top ten energy concerns in Germany. In the past we have taken on biomass plants in the planning stage and accompanied them through the BImSchG-permitting stage.

Raw Material: Rape-Seed

We evaluate potential sites, conduct feasibility studies and do the technical planning for the esterification of rape in biodiesel plants. Further, we secure the delivery of rape through the appropriate contracts.

We ensure quality performance by working together with competent companies from the areas of plant construction and process engineering.

We have been successfully active in this sector since 2003 and have planned biodiesel plants with a capacity to process 150,000 tons of rape and accompanied them into the construction phase.

Our Polish associates ensure delivery of the rape to our production sites. The investment volume for the first construction phase is 52 Million EUR.
